Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments:

    • Perform in-depth evaluations of clients' information security systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and gaps in security measures.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements.

  2. Develop security strategies and policies:

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique security requirements and objectives.
    • Design and implement information security strategies, frameworks, and policies tailored to clients' specific needs.
    • Define best practices and provide guidance on the implementation of security controls.

  3. Risk management and mitigation:

    • Conduct risk assessments to determine potential impact and likelihood of identified threats.
    • Develop risk mitigation plans and prioritize security initiatives based on the level of risk.
    • Advise clients on incident response plans and procedures to minimize the impact of security incidents.

  4. Compliance and regulatory adherence:

    • Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
    • Ensure clients' compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Assist clients in preparing for audits and assessments by regulatory bodies.

  5. Security awareness and training:

    • Educate clients' employees on security best practices, policies, and procedures.
    • Conduct security awareness training sessions to enhance employees' understanding of potential threats and their role in maintaining a secure environment.
    • Foster a security-conscious culture within clients' organizations.

  6. Technical expertise and solutions:

    • Evaluate and recommend appropriate security technologies, tools, and solutions.
    • Advise clients on the implementation and configuration of security systems.
    • Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents.

  7. Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, business or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
    • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or willing to achieve it.
    • Experience in information security, risk management, or a related field.
    • Strong knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, BIO, NIS2).
    • Proficiency in conducting security assessments and audits.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and mitigation techniques.
    • Experience in designing and implementing security solutions is preferred.
    • Consulting experience is a plus.
